If I were to say that the whole manifestation was created veiled, and it was created that man might unveil, and that the whole joy of the spiritual realisation lies in unveiling the truth which by nature is veiled, now you will ask me: "what is the veiling of this truth?". The whole manifestation is veiling, the tree, the plant, the mountain and human form, everything is a cover. A cover upon what? Upon one and the same thing, and that is Truth itself.
Und wenn ich nun sagen würde, dass die ganze Manifestation verhüllt geschaffen wurde, und sie dafür geschaffen wurde, dass der Mensch sie enthüllen möge, und dass die ganze Freude der geistigen Verwirklichung darin liegt, die Wahrheit, die von Natur aus verhüllt ist, zu enthüllen, dann werdet ihr mich fragen: "Was ist die Verhüllung dieser Wahrheit?" Die ganze Schöpfung verhüllt, der Baum, die Pflanze, der Berg und die menschliche Form, alles ist eine Verhüllung. Ein Verhüllung worüber? Über das Eine und Einzige, und dies ist die Wahrheit selbst.
